Justin entered the legal profession to support families in crisis and transition. He and his wife, Allyson—a licensed master social worker—share a mission to serve their community. Together, they also operate an outpatient mental health clinic in Tempe, extending their commitment to trauma-informed care and child welfare beyond the courtroom.
Justin's work often involves families navigating cross-categorical needs—including adoption, education rights (through his leadership of IEP Defenders in Arizona), and dependency court proceedings.
A Legal Advocate Grounded in Family and Community
Since 2010, Justin has served clients across Arizona. For over a decade, he has represented the Tohono O’odham Nation in all of their state child welfare matters in Maricopa County, providing culturally grounded and mission-aligned advocacy in dependency, severance, and adoption proceedings. His work reflects deep experience and trust in navigating the intersection of tribal sovereignty and child welfare law.

Justin previously served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Arizona, where he prosecuted DCS cases and developed the procedural expertise and courtroom skill that now guide his private practice.
